so. lit and english were quite bad today. a lot of uncertainties and i think misinterpretations. but ohwell, like bernice so timely reminded me, it's not counted for olevels. heh. then went for drum class and he taught me this funky new fill that sounds damn good :D

and tomorrow's labour day. i don't think i'll have much excitement apart from the internet and singtel, and i might be training esther for her inter-house basketball. fear her, mgs. HAHA i'll let jarron and alex comment on that further;)

couldn't sleep last night thinking about the competition today. so today went to church and left straight after to meet shafiq, mervyn and tim at j8 to get ready. then we saw mr ng there and we were like OHOHOH. yeah, but he was really encouraging and stuff(: and cat wong and royston low were there too. so in the preliminary rounds, we got quite nervous and we started making friends with the dunman high girls, cause they were like the second best in our group;) hahaha. so we played rather well and screwed up a bit, but, after a bloody nerve-wrecking decision by the judges, we qualified for the finals!! (:

then we walked around j8 and had lunch at subway and then went back to watch RI win their group. so it was us against them. so then we played and we screwed up like SHIT. sigh. and needless to say, RI won:/ it's not the skill of an individual person or two in these moments, but it's a collective effort by everyone in the group to win.

then talked to bernice for a bit after the competition and then went to play basketball with kevin, jarron, mervyn and alex. played with this NJ guy and his friends and it was fun la(:

school today was damn draggy. got scolded by my chinese teacher for APPARENTLY arguing with him. yeah whatever man. then came home for chinese tuition. exams begin tomorrow man.

today was a good day!

had the last lesson of basketball with mr sim and had an intra-class game. my group was so good that he joined in the other team, and we still beat them anyway(: hahaha and during chem, mr wong was surprisingly nice to me for like the first time this year! hahaha

then after school went to novel for amath tuition with bernice. i was really bored at 4.20, so i ended up drawing animals on the top of my foolscap paper and i gave the whole thing to bernice;) hahaha. then bernice's mum asked us to go into the car first and we were so bored in the car that bernice took the car keys and pressed the button and shrieked: WE'RE LOCKED IN! and i went OHNO! and so she unlocked it and she went SUPER BERNICE TO THE RESCUE! and i opened the door and said in my elmo voice: YAAAAY. HAHAH DAMN RETARDED LA.

then we went to novena to get yami yoghurt which was DA BOMB. and bernice's mum gave me a lift to lavender(: hahah

i just realised it's two days to midyears. SO WHAT MAN.

was quite tired on sunday cause i stayed up late on saturday night(: (: then went for youth to hear them talk about the church library and then did some prayer exercise thing by uncle trevor. went for service and sat next to bre and jireh and we were all disturbing POOR SHAWN who was unfortunate enough to be sitting in front of us;) jireh got high on poking shawn's neck and watching his reflex action. damn funny la! hahha

then wscs had their foodfair and i ate two ba changs which were super oily. but good. then talked crap with everyone then went to plaza sing to meet mervyn and shafiq to get our pants. tim ng was late so we went to yamaha to look at guitars and drums and mervyn started playing the reason on the keyboard cause he was so bored. hahahahah

so then tim ng came and we went to samuel and kevin, this fashion, giordano, baleno,hang ten, marks and spencers and john little but there were no cheap black pants! so in the end, we went to FOS at meridian to get the pants. hahah then went to school for the taiko drum practice. i realise we are GENERALLY better than the other schools, but we're not perfect, and i'm not happy): perfectionist. sigh.

then went for dinner at raffles hotel with my family and gracefong's family and i ate stingray which wasn't that fantastic. then went to watch blithe spirit which was not bad. and then my voice suddenly became DAMN LOW, like those movie trailer voices, and i was speaking normally! cool huh.

so today nothing much happened again, except we were gossiping during bio about various people and stuff. rather entertaining. hahaha.

went for drama at 2.20 today to get my nails painted by bernice. so now my left toes are all white. then drama was damn retarded, with simbian doing her piece and acting seductive and all, and elliot being drunk, and simbian trying to be juliet. so there was one part in my drama where i'm supposed to open the tomb door. and she thought that i was crossing over to juliet so she lay at where my door was supposed to be and so i mimicked the door being stuck with a heavy weight and since i was supposed to be sad in the play, after i killed someone, i changed my lines and went:

"OH. THERE SEEMS TO BE A DEAD WEIGHT AGAINST THIS DOOR!"

hahahah yeah. then after drama, i walked bernice to sufen's house and then went to meet mervyn and tim ng at funan. and we bought our jap drum costume! we decided to be sexy so we bought tank tops: SIZE M. cool man. hahahah sorry, HOT. ;)

then went to mervyn's house to paint the _____. [in case some other team is reading this] haha. then wen to meet my family for dinner at mezcafe at mandarin hotel. nice place, good food, horrendous portions. damn small la.

had pe today. basketball again(: as usual. i think the school made a big mistake in installing those wall-length windows. today during the dribbling drill, my eyes panned across the windows too many times and i got a severe headache. lasted during physics, and then there was the climb to the fifth floor for english and that seriously damn near finished me off. i was swaying from side to side, head limp, and walking like a zombie. and for those who know me well, i NEVER am this tired after playing basketball, even when i've played through four quarters straight and melting like ice cream. so shafiq saw my imminent collapse down the stairs and so he took my bag and carried it for me(: i think it's the result of sleeping too little over the easter weekend, not eating breakfast this morning, and wearing contacts that are 75 degrees below my current eye power. ohwell.

so then i recovered after recess and was back to my normal mode. [or whatever you'd count as me acting normal.] yeahh. so sat around after school and talked to jarron, mervyn, alex and kevin about random stuff. haha

then talked to cheryl, charlene, bre and josh after service, talking about random stuff, and then jireh came and told us that sean bit his butt. HAHAHA so peter, jireh and isaac trapped sean in the railings and we took of his belt and isaac showed us how to make a really really wrong sound. went for good friday service on friday and sat next to cheryl and talked about stuff. haha. then we [+fongs+gohs] went for lunch at sizzlers and then to merchant court. so we dumped our bags down and stoned in the rather-small rooms and then went shopping at central. the shops there weren't all nice but i got a nice shirt there and bernice was telling me she wanted a fedora hat. haha so we were bored and went to vivocity. bought movie tickets and grace/me/[jireh] found ACADEM'S FURY! cool mann. then we went back to get ready and all of us [except cheryl, grace, uncle kok wai and cheryl's parents] went to watch meet the robinsons at vivo [again!] jeremy and i met sherwyn there and we were queing up to get in and he asked me: SO HERE TO WATCH MOVIE? and i was like NOO, TO EAT THE POPCORN. sigh, people and their questions. meet the robinsons was nice and there was this nice, touching part at the end where the song little wonders by rob thomas was being played while the kid finds his family. haha.

then went back to the hotel and i found out that i was damn loser cause i didn't pack my specs in and so i just lay on the bed and listened to clay aiken and tried to stay awake to reply bernice. i couldn't ;)

woke up at 8 and my dad sent me home to get my contacts and for him to get whatever he needed and then went back. long john silvers for breakfast and then went back to watch nba. we were bored in the room so we went to check out the gym. turns out only people 16 and above could go in and so cheryl, charlene and i exercised our rights. HAHA. did ten minutes of weights and then went up to change and scram.

went to singapore swimming club for lunch with bernice and she had trouble signing me in. so i went to the fan and dried myself cause i was sweating from walking here. then managed to get in and then had wanton mee. then bernice's mum came and bernice was trying to stop her from eating fibre and fries. hahahaha damn funny la. so then she fetched us to drama.

drama was really quiet today cause all of us were rather tired. yeah. then waited for simbian's mum after class to make sure she got in safely and then went to photocopy bernice's stuff. then we cabbed to lavender [ :D] and i walked bernice home.

went for worship practice for tomorrow and it went rather well(: was talking to jireh after that and we just went on and on about stuff;) this is probably the best and relaxed saturday i've ever had. not the best, cause my birthday simply wins hands down, but definitely a good one(: (:

had pe and it's basketball again. teaching us passing. rather basic stuff, but i like the way mr sim teaches. he's very creative. then played basketball again during recess and kevin was simply on fire. he shot 20 shots from the three point line and only had like, TWO misses! i tell you, inter class is gonna be so easy. HAHA(:

then had amath tuition with bernice after school. we reached a new record, being bored after one hour. so we were just talking crap and training our abs. then we went to newton food centre for dinner and ate stingray! the sambal was damn hot but damn nice. it was rather funny seeing me trying to cool my mouth down by breathing in and out profusely, whereas bernice just sits there eating like a normal person. then i went to the muslim stall to buy roti john, and bernice asked me what i ordered. "MYSELF". hahahahhaa

so then we walked back and went to waffle town. and laughed for 40 minutes STRAIGHT. we were flipping bernice's badge again and it flew off the table and i said OH THE SPEED. and it was so cliche that we burst out laughing! and then it happened again and we were like OTS MAN. HAHAHHA DAMN RETARDED LA. then we went down for physics tuition and we were so bloody tired from laughing that we got rather sleepy halfway. and mr chan told us about his trip to switzerland where he climbed the ABS [alps] and it was damn funny! HAHA

so then we went to wait at my school canteen for my mum to come and for bernice's mum to finish her service(:

today was alright and we just stoned around in class for the better part of the day. then after recess, there were only SIXTEEN people left in the class cause everyone else left for VJC, ACJC, CO, the maritime thingy and other stuff. including me(: so shafiq, ivan, mervyn and i went to VJC for the humanities quiz.

when we got there, all the other teams were arriving in cabs and chartered buses! and we were walking in from the road after taking a public bus. see how our teachers treat us?! tsktsk. hahah so we went to sign in and i met elliot! and the vj girl said our school wasn't under 'A' cause our teacher forgot to put our names in [tsktsk] and so we went to the canteen to get a drink and we saw other people from other schools STUDYING. yeah then sat around and talked and then went in for the test.

the test was alright la, but a few questions were rather difficult. yeah. so then went for the reception and then back where they announced the finalists [RI, hwa chong, maris stella and SJI]. so sat through the first part of the finals and now i'm home. going to visit simbian in a while. knocked by a car :S

today was really fun, being april fools' day and all.

youth worship today was good, being the same band and all. i realised i sing better if i'm doing backup singing and not the worship leading. gives me more leeway to experiment with the different harmonies(: and i think that nice chord progression [A, G#, F#, D, E] it has a nice lounge feeling to it.

anyway then went for service where pastor sng told us his wife was pregnant with the fifth child but his wife spoilt it when she went OH REALLY?! HAHA. then began my first lesson with zhi en. heh interesting la. then went to pepper lunch for.. well, lunch. the food there's really, really good la(: then after lunch we were talking about various things and peter was damn funny. hahaha.
