so today was quite good!

went to barker road methodist church today. hahha their worship wasn't too bad! haha yeah then on the way to class, bernice, sufen and i were walking and then this titchy lizard crawled in front of us and if there was a camera infront, it would've won the world's funniest videos.

sufen screamed and leapt up, bernice screamed cause she was shocked, then we were al laughing like retards. hahah yeah then went to their class and the guy talked about the holy spirit and it's application to our life. stayed on after abit to help bernice with comprehension then went back to fairfield.

had lunch at sizzlers'.

colin came back to school today to tell me that the CJ coach was disappointed that i didn't make it for the dsa over there. and that if i go and talk to her, i'm most probably confirmed over there for the first oneandahalf months. okay he didn't exactly come back for me, but yeah.

hahah i was just thinking about what really happens after this year. the two or more years spent together as a class or team just split up and, like for me, if i really do go to CJ, it's everything changing. the culture, the people. i mean, when it was from js to barker it wasnt really much of a difference since it was like 1km up the road and everything was pretty much the same, just throw in a few more people from primary and it's the ACS thing for ten years!

they weren't kidding when they said the ACS spirit is what binds everyone together. i guess it's not really visible in normal school times, but take a look at the camps and all the trying times like obs or something. i remember after we came back from kayaking round the island. everyone knew each other from the two days of rain, seawater, sea and more sea, and you could see people working together, the kind of partnerships you NEVER EVER see in school. bigger guys helping the smaller guys and at the end, even though everyone was just ready to go take a shower, we actually stood round in a circle and did a school cheer. unbelievable, believe it.

i dunno, maybe it's just an observation that honestly, barker people are the laziest when it comes to school patriotism and for 56 guys, fifty-six barker guys to willingly and enthusiastically do a lame cheer, i think that stands for something.

so here's my first ponderings on the end of sec four. i think more will come after grad night, when the $70 raffles town club graduation dinner takes it's course.

okay! so i took myself out for a run today.

ran around the whole estate, as in the outside road, along marine parade road, turning at fernwood towers, turn again at siglap centre and run back along east coast road. past jalan buloh perindu and turn into the canal, then run back along marine parade road back home. hahah i'm surprised i even lasted in running mode til the shell station! and that's about 2km from the starting point. which is not bad for a guy who hasn't moved past walking speed in a long time.

so yes, that's probably the most exciting thing that happened today.

anyway, had the drama performance at borders on sunday. went earlier to meet bernice and elliot at mos burger for lunch. miss ying and her class joined us. so the burgers there are really really small, and isaac eats one packet of chilli per fry:/ hahah yeah so we were laughing a lot and showing sec ones how retarded sec fours can be.

haha yeah then went up to borders and dumped our stuff. changed into our costumes, me into judas, bernice into ophelia, elliot in his corpse bag, isaac in mega-aunty mode and we went round wheelock with a billion stares coming our way.

imagine this: you walk along wheelock like a normal human being looking for lunch or the apple centre or something, and then you see colossus in a black trenchcoat striding by, followed by a demented chinese vampire costumed thingy. she's followed by an upside-down corpse bag waddling around with an aunty who found the great singapore sale and is holding not one, but three corpse bags.

*a corpse bag, if you don't know by now, is a very very big bag, capable of fitting, well, a corpse. can also be used for shopping.

yeah, so after that very embarrasing but fun tour, we went back to borders and met saad. bernice, elliot, saad and i were talking [well not ALL of us] and shafiq came! ahah yeah so we just stood around and waited for our turn to perform. praashanth came too. so i did judas and it went oookay, but i think i dragged a few of my sentences to much. ohwell. then it was bernice's turn and she did ophelia with miss michelle as queen gertrude and me as king.. something. so that was good too(:

then watched isaac's class do theirs and whoa it was good! hahah then elliot did his and i was brought on again for the third time to be another prop- the unfortunate guy the porter happened to greet/intimidate/entertain. haha yes, but elliot did good too(:

so today was the last chapel for the sec fours and it went quite alright for a last one;) with only ONE screwup. so that's good too(:

someone turn the clock to nine thirty! i can't wait! haha;)

okay! haha it's a week since i last blogged!

on saturday, they told us that there's no more drama for the secfours): then went for worship practice, then to grace's house for prayercell. watched this guy without arms and legs, nick something, and he was speaking about God's love. good stuff

sunday was wear-your-school-uniform-to-church-day. so after 8.30 worship, i went down to kuehn hall to find and ac-mg party up front! hahah chris' whole team was from acs and mg la. hahah then there were the fairsians, a huge bunch of them, then of course, the ac and mg people, a sole pl-person and two ijs. hahah

so then played for 10.30 worship and it went rather well(:

mission briefing was... awkward;)

okay,so prelim results came out today.

20 points for L1R5

which is an improvement from midyears. so now i don't know what to do. take the R5 and minus 2 for cca then try and appeal for CJ? or just shelve it and go work or trackers? someone enlighten me.

and i'm the third last in emath in my class with an A2. sickening. 39 got A1s. average percentage of about 80-something. heh. horrific.

AND i've got a sore throat and whatever else.

so, let's start from tonight shall we?

so anyway, speech and drama exam was yesterday which was a friday. got to the studio at 8.40 to practise with miss evelyn. got the gist of my pieces and sat around and began destressing. bernice has a new phone and, sad to say, it's sleeker than mine. whole thing's stainless steel and it's cool. hahaha fine whatever. ;) so did some matrix video thing and made miss evelyn disappear. then elliot came and we went to buy an orange for miss evelyn's little flavours.

calmed bernice down and calmed myself down and went in to do the exam. romeo was okaaaaaaaaaay, the pearl was okaaaaaaaaaay, judas, was fabulous(: the conversation went quite well too and she was relatively happy with me. so that's GOOD(:

then went for chem and then after that got on the train with all my barang. my coat, my bag(s) and whatever. hahah yeah. went up to the room at the plaza to dump my stuff down and had a joke-telling session with grace, charlene and esther. hahha yeah then the rest came up to meet us and we went for dinner, then to watch ratatouille. show's a typical disney show! hahha

woke up this morning intending to swim, but it's raining! so we stayed in the room and played bridge all morning, then went down for breakfast. went up to swim and then lunch at chippy's. so we just came back from the penang hawker fare with mount jeremy and his lava.

it's been A WEEK since i last blogged!

so yes, on friday it was teachers' day and we got brought out to watch evan almighty. show's good, surprisingly quite meaningful. when we ask God for something, he doesn't give it to us, he gives us oppurtunities to show he really does care. when you ask God to bless you to make you more loving, he doesn't go to the cupboard and take out the loving powder to sprinkle around. he throws situations in our lives to let us have some effort in it!

so then a bunch of us went back to junior to visit those teachers left from 2003. a few were, and the basic procedure for recognition was 1) introduce. 2) state year, state class. 3) wait. 4) endure mild to major yelling, screaming, ohmygosh-ing and the works. 5) enjoy brief and pleasant conversation pertaining to olevels.

saturday was quite fun, went for drama and did my prose and speech rather well(: then went home for esther's birthday barbecue. good stuff.

sunday, went to church, had mission briefing.

monday, went for drama, came home, had tuition.

tuesday, went for amath, came home.

and today went to balmoral for physics and green's the colour of the day! and then to vivo to catch hairspray. it's so very high school musical, which means they break out into song while walking in the corridors, on the streets and everywhere. which means i like it(:
