so, as i said, entabeni.
we went there on the second day and when we got there, we saw the open top jeeps lined up in a row, as seen in picture 1. and that was the entrance to the park, which really takes your breath away. then we get onto the jeep and it drives us 20 mins to the reception area, where we have a really good lunch. then the jeeps bring us to our lodges.
basically they drop us in the middle of nowhere, and we follow this path through the bush till we come to a cliff. the roof of the lodge common room can be seen, as well and the sky in front of you and it's quite, quite blue! haha nol joke. anyway, so i'm sharing the lodge with nick, dheraj, dewei, beverly and joanna, so we climb down steps and come to our common room, which is about the size of a classroom, with a fireplace and a bar. it opens up onto a balcony walkway, which leads to the rooms on different wooden platforms, at the same time overlooking a ravine(: so the whole lodge is like a damn big treehouse(:
then we dump our bags down and go back out to the jeep which brings us back to the reception area for a briefing, then it's safari time! okay, basically it's indescribable what we saw, but we saw gnus, kudu, zebras, and a lion at dusk. then we were driving back and the stars came out. wow. there was a bar in the sky unknown to singaporeans called the milky way. it's like a cloud of faraway stars which form a spiral in the sky, and is framed by the constellations we see. beautiful.
