i'm so bored. physics.maths.chemistry.morephysics.moremaths.heh.

drama was fun today, blew gum bubbles. hahahaha.. haven't used those in a LONG time man.. hahaha.. we still havent got our results yet:( ms ying speculates that there's some appealing going on and told us about the facial expressions which the examiner uses to show he's pissed off. hahaha.. that got me quite scared.

went to 7-11 after drama. simbian saw this cute-who-wasn't-cute guy. hahaha.. we were standing around and laughed at his hair til we got tired. then went to haagen-daz to study with bernice. i didn't have money, so had to eat the chocolate cream filled thingy which ms ying gave us for children's day. hhahaha. simbian came in halfway to present us with 2 pineapple pies. bernice gave me hers, ignoring protests from my side. ohwell, it was quite nice anyway. hahaha:)

exam's in two days time. 48 hours. bleargh.

the last day of official schooling. everyone was stressing out in school, trying to ask the teachers for some last minute hints and stuff like that. kevin didn't come today, skipped school. smart fella. hahahaha...

i hope we get our drama results tomorrow. hahaha. three weeks of waiting's making me impatient. okay, fine. very impatient.

yesterday kevin let me listen to this new version of 'Someday We'll Know' by mandy moore and some guy. a duet. but VERYVERYNICE!!!! hahaha and this other song.

25 minutes michael learns to rock
After some time I’ve finally made up my mind
She is the girl and I really want to make her mine
I’m searching everywhere to find her again
To tell her I love her
And I’m sorry ’bout the things I’ve done

I find her standing in front of the church
The only place in town where I didn’t search
She looks so happy in her wedding dress
But she’s crying while she’s saying this

Boy I missed your kisses all the time but this is
Twenty five minutes too late
Though you travelled so far boy I’m sorry you are
Twenty five minutes too late

Against the wind I’m going home again
Wishing be back to the time when we were more than
Friends

Still I see her in front of the church
The only place in town where I didn’t search
She looks so happy in her wedding dress
But she’s cried while she’s saying this

Out in the streets
Places where hungry hearts have nothing to eat
Inside my head
Still I can hear the words she said

I can still hear what she said

bernice says i look like this---> :/ hahahahahaha

i'm just starting to feel nervous about this exam. which isn't a very common feeling. usually i feel normal. helps you think better.

finally got the CHP poster from sean after pestering him. and now they're panicking about the backdrop and all the logistics. way to go. played basketball and handball for pe today. thank God i can still shoot properly. hahaha. played guard. veryvery exciting. then for handball i think we were all tired from basketball. and shafiq's having ramadan. so we didn't play as well as we should. i think alex is either veryvery brave or dumb. when i rose up for a shot after charging forward on a fastbreak, he leapt into my path. of course he got thrown backwards about 2 metres. but i mean, WHO in their right mind would leap into the path of a 74kg person who's already picked up his momentum?! that's called bravery. wow.

HALF A WEEK left to exams. at least it sounds better than three days. or seventy-two hours. hey, i'm trying to sound optimistic;)

bernice sent me this retarded clip last night. check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnJAozfBq7w&eurl=

today's history class was damn retarded. i was making some horse galloping noise with my hands and feet and my whole table was laughing and making up silly horse jokes. then kevin did a farting sound with his hands and then we all imagined the horse's tail flying up. hahahahahahahaha. very retarded. then we were quiet for a while, until kevin started whistling. "doesn't it sound like the wind??" <-- kevin. then he was just sitting there whistling and he suddenly burst out: I'M THE GOD OF WIND!!!" that did it. we were laughing. as in really bawling our heads off. then shafiq did some crow noise which led many ppl at the table to break down crying. very good ab workout:D

submitted the handball form today. class team's reallyreally good. FOUR players above 180cm. now that's what you call height advantage. and the twins, who are near psychic; it's a twin thing. and then kevin and jarron, attacking from all angles. and woon. the best keeper in the world.

four days. anxiety starts.

finished 2 books this week. technically, one on sunday and another one today. Map of Bones and Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony. veryvery nice:)

the vp and mrs wong came to our class today to encourage us for the exams. nice of them, but quite random. hahaha. was having a very fun time in chem class today. me and kevin finished our worsheets and then began fooling arnd. played this veryvery noisy squeezing-each-other's-knee game. looked very wrong and kevin fell off his stool cos it was so tickish. the things we do... then the whole class was saying the chem teacher's name, cassidy, in very high pitched tones. he got quite irritated but couldnt seem to find who was the culprit. hahahahaha..

watched the Much Ado About Nothing movie in the library. guess who was starring as don pedro?? hahahahaha... DENZEL WASHINGTON!!! woohoo!!! movie was alright, except they don't censor the bedroom parts. which i don't think anybody complained about. hahahaha. there was also this bathing scene where EVERYBODY strips and just bathes in the open. of course the guys bathe in the open and girls bathe in some sort of bathhouse. sigh. italians.

five days time! i'm kinda ready... heh.

had the puppet prac today. i still think something is missing. aiya, we'll get it sorted next week. hahaha. then went to grace's house to study. well actually jeremy and i were listening to some william hung tracks and laughing our heads off. hahahaha... then i realised i should get some studying done. and that's when jeremy chose to turn on his crazy frog songs. so i went to somewhere quieter and finished studying china!!! goody. grace then started playing warcraft and then she called me a gaming freak cos i remembered exactly what to do and where to go in that particular campaign. hahaha..

went to chinese swimming club for dinner. had chendol for dessert. it came in a flourescent green pool of melted ice. and it tasted like soap. heh.

i realised that the chinese words in the post below aren't really readable, so i shall type it in hanyu pinyin. she turned to her colleague and shouted, "wei! ta zhi shi zhong san!" yes. she shouted that out. like i had some contagious disease or something. hahaha

my mp3 is spoilt. dang. it's okay! get a new one! hahaha

went to cut my hair today. then went for speech and drama. THE RESULTS AREN'T OUT YET!!!! sigh. and ms ying says MAYBE next week. anyway, drama was fun. we had chewing gum and we were playing this sms game where we had to do improvisation based on someone's sms. so i had to be a gay guy and act gay to marvin. [shudder]. hahahaha..

went to weast with bernice to study. tried to order a chicken pie with a root beer. the chicken pie was reserved and they had run out of root beer. hahaha. it happens. then when i went to pay, the lady said, "studying for jc finals?" so i was like "no..." and she said "orh.. uni issit?" "no..." then she looked quite confused. then she said, "aiyah.. poly la." "no.. sec three." this was when her jaw dropped. "WHA!!!" then she turned to her colleague and shouted, "哇! 中三而已!!" sigh. bernice was of course, sniggering, when i got back to the table. i feel so old. heh. (pardon the chinese if it's wrong;))

Someday We'll Know
90 miles outside Chicago
Can't stop driving
I don't know why
So many questions I
need an answer
Two years later
You're still on my mind
Whatever happened to Amelia Earhart?
Who holds the stars up in the sky?
Is true love just once in a lifetime?
Did the captain of the Titanic cry?
Someday we'll know if love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know why I wasn't meant for you
Does anybody know the way to Atlantis
Or what the wind says when she cries?
I'm speeding by the place where I met you
For the 97th time tonight
Someday we'll know if love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know why I wasn't meant for you
Someday we'll know why Samson loved Delilah
One day I'll go dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know that I was the one for you
I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow
I watched the stars crash in the sea
If I could ask God just one question
Why aren't you here with me tonight?
Someday we'll know if love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know why I wasn't meant for you
Someday we'll know why Samson loved Delilah
One day I'll go dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know that I was the One for you

"bene, in quel caso, lasci i giochi cominciare!", "alright, in that case, let the games begin!"

i love the italian language. and the italian pasta. and the italian pizza. and the italian accent. it's just so energetic and lively. and funny, to a certain extent. this is not meant to be offensive, all you italian people.

yeah. that was quite random and out of point.

school's very monotonous now. everyone is in a very secretive mode, not willing to share notes or help out in any way. smart people get singled out and people try all sorts of ways to distract you. i guess this is the A1 stress season, where everyone is everyone's enemy.

che peccato... what a pity...

Thursday, September 21, 2006

i love the way exam stress is taking a toll on everyone! hahahaha.. in chem class today, kevin found a tennis ball and started spinning it on the bench. and spinning. and spinning. and he was just stoning at the ball. then suddenly his face grows into a smile and he shouts: "EH JOHN!!! IT'S DAMN FUN!!!" hahahaha.. then we were trying to flick the droplets from the dripping tap at each other. almost got sent out. hahahaha. we got bored of that mind-boggling activity and he used his marker and my marker(cos his ran out of ink) to colour the ball black. AND. we found out the black colour STAINS REAL BADLY! heehee.. so we tossed the ball at unsuspecting clowns and they caught it! then they roll it in their hands and give me and kevin a 'wth' face. and we're just sitting there trying not to laugh. we laugh when they realise that they have very.. eh.. dark hands. hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

wira's bunch of people were making seal noises and the whole class basically joined in. hahahaha.

handball was fun today in the real handball court. our team rocks la. woohoo! shafiq, kevin, woon, ben, jon, tim and me are gonna teach the other classes why they should NEVER play against A1. ohyeah...

tomorrow's friday. that's fast. exams in a week's time. whoopee.

i don't know HOW ON EARTH people are supposed to do, let alone LIKE amaths. did the ij paper in class today and was quite frustrated with myself cos i kept on doing the question with the correct formula but with the wrong coordinates. ( the distance between coordinates; the square root (X1-X2)square + (Y1-Y2)square thingy.) took arnd 5 mins to figure out that i had a wrong negative sign for one of the coordinates. almost gave a negative sign myself. heh.

anyway... had crayfish pasta at swensens for lunch.. then began doing chem and physics. i'm so glad there's pe tmr. the only class in which i excel in. i love handball!! woohooo!!!! hahahaha

had a nice chat with bernice last night. was laughing at her coo-el words and stuff. hahahahaha. i couldn't sleep at all la..

weekend's over, so many things.

firstly, the pirate. i really wanna do it cos it sounds real fun and stuff. then my mum says that she's not comfortable abt this whole halloween thing and that although she knows i want to do it, she wouldn't encourage it. we'll see...

then there's worship for next monday's chapel. i just inconvenienced jeremy to bring his guitar for me tmr. not very nice on my part. sigh.

and then concerning friendships with others. sigh.

i hope something comes out of this whole situation.

my 100th post.

today's drama class was... quite awkward. shall not go into details there. anyhow, we did this slapping exercise which tested our new russian vocabulary. i can only remember 2 at the moment. "hup!" which means start, and "stoika!" which means stop. try saying stoika. it sounds damn cool. hahahaha.. then there was this throwing exercise to also test our russian and the last throw splattered crystabel with plain water. whoops. NORMAL water;) hahahahaha. and i got to become a pirate for this year's halloween, which explains my sudden obsession for pirate talk and stuff. hahaha.

then went down to church for worship prac. songs were mostly new and chris couldnt control the band. that's one point we can improve. heh.

this is where i stoika.

"it's not worth celebrating your best fighter's skill if your army loses the war." - asian philosopher.

played against ahmad ibrahim sec today. started the match horribly, allowing a 20-point gap by half-time. then in the 3rd and 4th quarter, we started becoming alive. we closed the gap to 64-65, (us down by 1) and then 66-65. that's when things started to go horribly wrong. they began their full court press and we slipped back down. final score: we lost. 77-88. but the guys played superbly and that's all that matters.

and now for the self-centered side of this post. i had the best game in my life, scoring 37 points, grabbing 20+ rebounds and blocking 7 shots. hahaha:):):):) i suprised myself man.

i think i'm going to let God take over my decisions. i'm not going to rush it and watch helplessly as everything falls apart. thanks for the advice everybody. and shaun. for the book. here's to singlehood! (:

Thursday, September 14, 2006

played against manjusri again yesterday. left halfway during the match for drama, with a very... *ahem* DIGNIFIED exit. see, the manjusri team brought a few girls there, and i totally forgot about it. so, like all other training days, i just changed right there. then the coach went, "eh!!!" and i was like ohcrapla. so the girls were like.. i dont know, was trying to kill myself. yeah. very unglam.

had drama exams today, went to simbian's house for further prac and then it was super retarded. hahahhaa.. went to eat chicken rice for lunch and we were talking about all the different drama class histories we all had. hahahaha. so, drama exams. bernice was freaking out like mad and so was everyone else. then simbian and miss ying did bernice's indian makeup, and she looked... well, like an indian. hahaha. but very nice. then bernice and miss ying did my hair and bernice was complaining about how short my hair was. hahahahaha.. so the exam was alright, with the examiner being rather nice.hahahaa

had handball for pe today. woot! mrs tan says my team has our attack and our defense is super smooth! yay! then i had this shot where i leapt in front of the keeper and slammed the ball right into his groin. heehee. the man folded like a fish. anyway. we are SO gonna win the inter class handball man! hahahaha

Friday, September 8, 2006

lost to punggol sec today by 4 points. so final score was 63-59. had an international referee refereeing our match and by far, he's the best ref i have ever had. hahaha.. punggol's centre was super tall, almost 1 head taller than me. sigh. but the coach said we played rather well. good. 8 points, 7 blocks. not a good show. the points, i mean. the blocks were nasty:)

the went for drama and i finally managed to memorise my da vinci code. then was having a good time there laughing over random things like the guy covering his ears when christabell(is that how her name's spelt?) sings, bernice tripping on her sari, and stitch hitting my head when i stand up on the chair. hahaha..

AND i got my new specs! NO MORE BLINDNESS AT NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Tuesday, September 5, 2006

happy birthday esther!

feeling better now.. still got the diahorrea though but not feeling as dead. there's the wesley prac tomorrow. i've got a feeling it's gonna be fun, bullying a. carol and stuff. hahaha..

went for drama today. miss ying's mood was slightly better compared to sunday. heh. then this boy spilled some water on the floor and when miss ying asked him,"is that plain water?!" he said,"NO!" so we were all like 'ohno' and he says," it's NORMAL WATER!" hahahahahahahahah!!

got my new specs. it's coming on fri. heh.

Monday, September 4, 2006

i've got a slight fever and major diahorrea. started last night and to put it crudely, my butt was gushing like a tap in the toilet. needless to say, i'm quite cranky now.

woke up at 11.30 and wanted to go back to sleep. then after hours of playing the xbox and the com, had tution. so, evidently, my highlight of the day was watching The Devil Wears Prada with family and grace. oh yes. and my specs broke, so i'm wearing my contacts arnd the house. gonna get my new glasses tmr. heh.

september HOLIDAYS? what on earth is that??

Friday, September 1, 2006

I'm back.
from obs.

things picked up their pace as soon as i turned on my phone. heh. oh well, we can't be ALL enjoying ourselves can we? anyway, i'm kinda happy about the new work. gives me something to look forward to. haha.

day #1
went to camp 2 by boat, passing by camp 1 and really envying the people who were staying there. got sorted into our watches. GO MAGELLAN! if you're too dense, that's my watch name. heh. had some introductions and team-building games. then went to pitch our tents in sunrise valley. samuel told us that there would be wild boars roaming around in the camp at night. then he told us not to worry. wow.

day #2
had rock climbing in the morning followed by a kayaking tutorial. me and joachim still have our form, though a bit rusty. kayaked to camp 1, where we had a damn nice dinner. then went to fool around, disturbing other schools:) and just chatting around with each other. went to check our campsite and found out thhat there were only 3 tents! so got the livingstone people to form floodlights with their 6 torches while i put up that last tent. don't know WHERE on earth the rest of the watcch went to, but it was kinda fun working by mostly feel.

day #3
went to do the inverse tower in the morning where me and joachim ROCKED. hahaha.. then went to prep for our sea ex(pedition) and then had our briefing during the blasted cat 1 thunderstorm. got nominated as a sex leader (SEa eXpediton LEADER) and, since the other leaders couldn't read maps, bacame the navigator. so after the rain, brought the kayaks down, ready to launch, when 2 monitor lizards swam right across our beachfront. had to wait. then launched all 30 kayaks and began our seaex to campsite 3. almost hit a submerged rock which was lurking JUST BELOW the surface of the water and almost freaked out. actually i did freak out. just a little. heh. then had to deal with a capsize case which was totally unnecessary. made it to campsite 3 in good time and loaded up the kayaks and he backpacks just as the rain started. for those of you clean, dry and warm in your homes, we were freezing, filthy and soaked. pitched our tents in the deluge and then it turned dark. so we had to pitch our tents in near total darkness. then, having no place to bathe, we just had to remain wet and clammy. dean lit a fire and we had campbell soup. for those of you who know me very well, you know i absolutely HATE mushroom soup. but desperate times call for desperate needs. i DEVOURED the soup. that's how hungry i was. then went to sleep in the wet tent. jalil lit a fire inside and me, marcus, joachim, matthew and jalil were huddled round the flame, drying out our wrinkled bodies. haha.

day #4
technically this IS day 4. had maggi mee for breakfast and had to strike down our tents by 6.45am. not easy. we had to catch the tide to the west side of the island where the tide would then change at 10am to bring us back to camp 2. all this had to be done in strict precision or else we would be fighting against the tide. which isn't nice. THEN there was another cat 1 storm. until 8.30. which gave us 1.5 hours to travel about 5 km. sweet. we reached the west side of the island at 10.15! instructors were very impressed and amazed at us and gave us biscuits as a reward.

'biscuits?!' you might say. 'what the-' kayaking at about 4+km/hour is not very relaxing, mind you. so biscuits are a perfectly good reward. =)

anyway, while we were having our treats, fajar sec kayakers rounded the corner. the sea ex leaders had a formation with everyone in a straight line with us in front. we started cheering and beating on our kayaks to get into a high. very Lord of the Rings. seaex leaders put up their paddles in the air, put them down. charge. mobile charlie gladly complied. our instructor, samuel, later told us that "that fleet was the most united fleet he has EVER seen in the history of his career." " we are united for either a common goal or a common enemy." " you guys formed a perfectly straight line which developed gradually into an arrowhead shape, cutting fajar's formation like a heated knife through butter." (=

after the battle, we had a commitment stretch which we were forbidden to stop in. the commitment strech is actually the sebmerged check jawa, the coral reef. stopping there would make complications. anyway, we cleared the thing and made it back to camp one at 1.45 pm, travelling an average time of FIVE km/hour! *clap clap*

day #5(today)
did our final activity, the jetty jump. we shouted our commitments in life before 'taking the plunge into the unknown'. quite apt. hahaha. so when it was my turn, i shouted my commitment:), crossed my arms and stepped off the platform. i forgot to close my legs completely and that resulted in a sharp pain between the legs. cringe at this point if you must. i also lost my shoe. hmph. travelled back in the boat and headed back to school. then went for sakae sushi to put back the energy which we lost. i put back a little more energy than i needed and ended up quite sick. couldnt even walk properly. hahahaha.

there. those are five damn good days which i want to remember. so now go rest your eyes. i'm done(=
