today was the best day in all my [exactly now] sixteen years of life(:

went swimming today at the swissotel. froze my ass off. then went up and changed and watched some basketball on tv. then went to buy a belt from esprit and then met bernice at starbucks. laughed for a while and waited for simbian to come. then walked to marina for lunch. PRATA! and then ate half a cake.

then walked around marina for a while, then went to taka to look for bernice's shoelaces. went to the puma shop where bernice asked this guy with a lanyard round his neck for shoelaces. then his friend came up behind him and then she realised that HE WAS JUST A SHOPPER. laughed like MAD la.

then went to get icecream and sat around and complained how loser we looked. then simbian left and i went to put on the baby lotion which simbian gave me. helped a LOT man. then walked outside taka where this BRAZILLIAN SAMBA troupe was playing rythms on various drums. amazing i tell you.

then crossed the road and saw the kid busker play drums. he's seriously not bad man. timing and control and ehem. "plan Bs". heh. then from there on, i became super suspicious. bernice went to the toilet for FIVE minutes and that's when i began to get my suspicions, as well as when she told me rather forcibly that we had to go to toys 'r' us. so when we were walking up, i could sense her apprehensiveness but didn't want to blurt it out. so we got there and we walked to the centre of toys 'r' us and bernice asked me to stand there and then she walked over to the toy stands and went HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN.

yes.

so my face was in permanent OMG mode for like 5 minutes and when we were taking a group photo, my cheeks hurt. hahah. then went to cine for dinner at pastamania and then to watch the messengers. really scary and shocking.

so. thank you bernice, breanna, shawn, simbian, cheryl, charlene, jireh, joshua, grace, jeremy, alwyn, isaac, joshua, shaun, daniel... chris. HAHAHA.

you. best friend since fourteen years ago. thanks for being there for me through thick and thin [LITERALLY. referring to me], through good and bad times, giving me sound advice on what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. thanks for the late-night 45 minute calls, talking about basically anything under the sun, for encouraging me [or both ways] during my basketballs matches when i felt like shit. thanks to you man((:

firstly. thanks for being so sneaky and organising this whole thing even though you got so little sleep and stuff(: seeing you for like 3 hours a day, three days a week has also made my 2007 a lot brighter with your chirpiness and retardedness. thanks also for listening to all my worries and troubles and helping me feel A LOT happier at the end of the day, even when no one else can, for sharing all the laughter and the tough, sickenning times when the world's out to get me. you're one of those really special [and few] people who smash through my seemingly calm exterior and just have a heart- to- heart talk((: many, many thanks goldheart(:

five years ago, this friendship was seriously nonexistent. but last year and especially this year, you've been a really good friend, entertaining me and stuff. thanks for also being a partial organiser of today and for that crazy, shrieking laugh which makes me high too(:
